Welcome to the Canva Apps developed by Crealis Studio. This Privacy Policy explains our principles and practices regarding user data when you use any of our applications ("our Apps") within the Canva platform.
Our core principle is to collect and process the absolute minimum information necessary for our Apps to function, and nothing more. Your privacy and the security of your creative work are our highest priorities.
By using any of our Apps, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
We want to be explicitly clear about what we do not do. Our Apps do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to:
Your name, email address, or physical address.
Your Canva account details or user ID.
Your IP address or device information.
Any form of payment or billing information.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics or advertising services.
To provide their core functionality, our Apps need to temporarily handle certain data. This processing is strictly limited to the duration of your use of an App for a specific design.
What We Process:
User Content: The images, text, or other elements you select from your Canva design for our Apps to act upon.
App Parameters: The settings and options you choose within our Apps' controls to achieve your desired result (e.g., the values on sliders, color selections, etc.).
How We Process It:
All processing occurs locally within your browser and the secure Canva editor environment.
This data is used solely to render the desired effect or function on your selected content in real-time. It is never sent to, processed by, or stored on any external servers owned or operated by us.
Our Apps are designed to be stateless. This means:
No External Storage: We do not operate any external databases or servers to store your content, your designs, or your App settings.
Canva-Managed Storage: Once you apply an effect and create a new asset, that final asset is stored within your own Canva account, subject to Canva's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. We do not have access to your Canva account or the designs you create.
Secure Communication: All interactions between our Apps and the Canva platform are handled through Canva's secure, authenticated mechanisms.
Our Apps are self-contained tools. We do not integrate with, or share any data with, any third-party services, analytics providers, or advertisers.
Because we do not collect or store any of your personal data, any requests related to data subject rights (such as the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data) should be directed to Canva. As the data controller for your account and designs, Canva is responsible for managing your personal information. You can manage your data by accessing your Canva account settings or by contacting Canva's support team directly.
Our Apps are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with information in violation of this policy, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
